The story

Born and raised in Amagansett, New York and presently living in East Hampton, where he is surrounded by the amazing Atlantic Ocean shoreline which plays host to endless magnificent sunrises and an abundance of beautiful wildlife. Dell's passion for wildlife has made it his primary life function. He owns and operates Hampton Wildlife and is the founder of Wildlife Rescue of East Hampton, Inc. a nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife rescue and, "leaving no animal to suffer or without help". Along with his rescued blind eastern screech owl, named Athena, he visits schools, groups and lectures about the importance of, and the necessity of compassion for our wildlife. Also a staunch crusader against trash and litter, he also educates on the impact litter has on the wildlife. Dell has produced many anti-trash related psa's and short films but, his claim to fame is his full length environmental documentary "Isabela: a Green Explorer Expedition" (available on Amazon / free to Prime members).

Dell shoots in both vivid color and black & white. He is well accomplished in all photographic genres, and has worked in almost every field from firematic to fashion, abstract to aerials, portraits to landscapes and much, much more. His black & white nudes are sold internationally, while his local works are often seen in books, magazines, newspapers, local establishments and select galleries around the country (presently, Pennsylvania & Idaho). Dell hosts his very popular photography workshops multiple times during the summer season. He was a credited contributing photographer for the East Hampton Star and East Magazine until he left in late 2017 after 6 years, to freelance for all publications. Meanwhile, whether it's about his photography, films, books, his passion for wildlife or his crusade to end litter on the east end, Dell has been a guest on various television and radio shows and written about in many newspapers from the New York Times and Newsday to all the local papers, magazines and .com's in the Hamptons. He also contributes photos to CBS News in New York.

Along with his own film productions, he's contributed to other productions, usually with his amazing drone work. His two most recent contributions are "LarsenWorld" 2018 and "Conscience Point" 2019. Dell also produces and hosts Imagination Nature TV, a nature and wildlife based series that just finished it's 5th year and 25th special episode on LTV East Hampton, ch. 20 / On Demand @

He's also a self-publishing author. His first book titled "Eden of East Hampton: The Village Nature Trail" was released in November of 2015, and sold over 200 copies before the new year. Since then he has published several photo books and a wonderful children's series called "The Wild Adventures of Scurry the Squirrel". Another favorite is his amazing water and wave photography book titled "the Aquatic Ballet". He has also written a couple of history related books displaying his vast collection of historical family photographs that he has become the keeper of. An absolutely astounding collection that Dell has been donating bits and pieces, to various local historic resources, (Montauk Library / Amagansett Historical Society/East Hampton Library/ Sag Harbor Historical Association). He has also produced a couple historical specials for LTV as well.

Dell continues to create in all forms. He's available for hire in both photography and film, and will travel. Please see the contact page for more information. Thank you, and enjoy the website and gallery, and the world of Imagination Nature.
